POSITION: OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
Permanent Full-time
1 position; 37.5 hrs/week; Mon-Fri
REPORTS TO: Executive Director (ED)
DATE REQUIRED: June 2019; exact date to be determined
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Post-secondary education in office administration
Experience:
- Experience working in an office environment
- Experience applying computer skills (Microsoft) and working with data bases
- Experience with accounts receivable/payable processes
- Experience working with volunteers
Abilities:
- Attends to the daily operations from an organizational, administrative, and communications support perspective for the Hospice
- Works very closely with the leadership team on various events and assumes responsibility for special projects as assigned by the Executive Director
- Essential functions include general/office administration, finance, information technology, and special events & projects.
Interpersonal Skills & Competencies:
- Self-starting, highly organized, with an ability to manage multiple priorities through strong time management skills and effectively working to deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including communication and conflict resolution
- Enjoys working in a team environment and represents the Hospice with the highest degree of professionalism.
