We are seeking an RN with a passion for nursing, supervisory experience, and a dedication for delivering compassionate care to become our Patient Care Coordinator, ER.

We are in beautiful Prince Rupert, BC! A port city on the water on British Columbia’s northwest coast.

About the position

This position is located in the Prince Rupert Regional Hospital. The ER consists of 9 rooms/stretcher bays and a 2 bed High Acuity Unit. We receive approximately 22,000 visits per year. Our committed, motivated staff collaborate to provide a positive workplace culture. You will work in partnership with our team of physicians, staff, and community partners to lead our department’s improvement initiatives, capital equipment purchases, staff development, and coordinate day-to-day operation. There are ample opportunities to work with regional leads across the organization to support your career development.

 

 

Education & Experience you will need to have:

 Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as a practicing RN registrant.

Perinatal/Obstetrical course or equivalent combination of training and experience.
 Cardio- pulmonary in education. Resuscitation (CPR) - Basic Rescuer level required.

  Minimum of three (3) years recent related clinical and or managerial experience.
